Created an Online Portfolio
I wanted a place to publicly record my professional accomplishments, relevant job experience and acquired skills, and decided that the best way to do so would be via a “portfolio” website. I’ve created this site with the intention that I’ll keep it up to date with stories illustrating some of the projects I’ve undertaken over the years.
The site uses the blogging engine WordPress as the backend, which is an amazing piece of open source software that I’ve become very familiar with. To create this portfolio site, I first installed WordPress on my shared hosting server and then proceeded to configure it until it was suitable for the purpose of serving more “static” content than the usual blog updates. The bulk of the work done for this site was converting a theme I’ve previously made for a portfolio site into a pure WordPress theme.
